Annual Get Together 2008- Syngenta Bangladesh Limited

Our company Syngenta Bangladesh Limited arranged their Annual Get Together on 26th Nov, 2008 at Cox’s Bazaar. Total 120 permanent employee attended in this program. It was 4 days program. 2 days for journey and one day conference/get together and another day for picnic at Inani Beach.

It was a great fun. We started our journey in 24th Nov 7:40 am from Dhaka by Train (Mahanagar provati). Bangladesh train service improve tremendously. 2 Compartment reserved for us. I was in food and gift committee. So we food committee member distribute the breakfast (Morog Polaw, Jali Kabab, Egg Vuna, Drinks, Water, apple) . All the people were in a josh fun mood. They have mike and deliver lots of jokes and song. It was excellent. After reached Chittagong station, we start our journey for Cox’s Bazaar by Bus. 3 AC bus were reserved for us. We took our lunch in Bus journey. It was Kacchi Biriyani. We reached Cox’s bazaar at 8:30 PM. It was a very long journey. Our arrangement was in Hotel Seagal . We received our room key with nice welcome drinks. My room mate was Afsana Rahman (I said afsana apu) , Assistant Manager, Purchase.

Next day 26th Nov , we spend free time till afternoon. We took our lunch in Netol Base Restaurent (Now it is the most popular resturent and veryyyyyyy testy food). In our lunch the menu are Shutki vorta, plain rice, vegetable, Rup chada fish fry, Dal, Chicken curry. Yammyyyyyy all food are sooo testy. From 3 pm our conference started. Syngenta Business is mainly agro chemical business. So the conference start with a Baul Song and Demo farmers meeting where our managing director Sarwar Ahmed , Abida- Data Management Officer, Tahrin- HR Officer participate as a model. Haha. It was very nice.

Our Regional Head Andrew attended in Conference. All employees were divided into 10 groups and these groups present 10 drama which is selected by the management. This part was so funny and enjoying. The conference has been closed with Bar-B-Q Dinner in swimming pool area with Baul and vatiyari song. It was cool.

Next 27th Nov – There was arrangement of Picnic in Inini Beach at 7:30 am. Z tours arrange all these things. They welcme us with “Pahari Nach”, Vapa Pitha, Chitoi Pitha. 2 people were continuously cook vapa and chitoi. Then cricket match, football match all arrangement was there. Our lunch menu was Shutki Vorta, Begun Vorta, Kolar thor ranna, rice, mutton curry, Doi and drinks. We enjoyed a lot and back to Hotel Seagal in 4 pm . After 7 pm there was prize giving ceremony for 100% achievement of sales person. All employee got a nice wrist watch (Credence-Time Zone) from the company.

At night after finishing the dinner cultural program started from 9:30 pm. Some professional singer from Channel –I Shera Kontho and the Rinku (Closeup One) presents their song. All songs sang by Rinku waooooooo… very nice. He is really very nice singer. When he sang “Kanar Hatbazar” , most of our employee just start dancing. And when he started singing “Shadher Lau” , without 6 girls all people were dancing and enjoying. It was a very nice moment. The cultural program ends at 12:30 pm

In 28th Nov we came back to Dhaka by train (Mohanagar Godhuli). We reached at Dhaka 10 pm from Cox’s Bazaar. Here is some pics I attached to share with you.

Back Again

Hello every one I am back again after 1 year. :D...

This one year I was so busy with my Masters. I completed all subjects of M.S. Now Inshallah will starting my thesis as soon as possible. And also busy with my job. Last December I changed my job from software companies to MNC(multinational company). Now I am working in Syngenta Bangladesh Ltd. as Software Engineer in IS Dept. But too many work load. and also my thesis . So I had no time in my hand to continue this blog. But at last I synchronize everything and sattle in my job and also my study is going.

Now another news I got married in last 6th June 2008. So also busy with my family. My husband is a mechanical engineer working in Kaltimex Energy (Deutz Germany) as Assistant Manager. His name is Ehsanur Rahman Tanim.

Hope i will share my moments and news with you through this blog.

An Accident

Today when I was going to office from dhanmondi to mohakhali I have faced an unexpected situation. I was in a CNG taxi. When Texi just crossed the Bijoy Shawrani Road , one wheel (right side) of the CNG just loose and separated from CNG body. The CNG just run few seconds and stop at island because of break by the Driver . Thanks to Allah because of prevent me from a major accident. If there is any Bus , Track behind the Taxi then a major accident would be happened. Allah save me and He is everywhere.

Believe It or Not

Really very interesting guy.....

One day (6th May 2007) in bus (Winner) I was having a journey from dhanmondi to Mohakhali. The person I am talking about is a beggar and the passengers of Winner Bus almost know him because he begged always in winner BUS. He is blind (Seriously Injured in his 2 eyes) and look like blind. As usual he was begging for money. At that time the bus conductor told him to leave the Bus because its not a local one. Then he told conductor “I know its not a local bus. Its winner bus.”. So everybody became attentive to listen what he told. Then the conductor said “this is not a winner BUS”. Then the beggar told again ” Its winner coaster. I know that.”. And he asked the driver “How is Mofiz (the previous conductor).” Then driver replied that he had left the job. Then the bus conductor asked him again “Do you know where are we now?” (The bus is already running). He told “Ya its Basundhara City (Near) Small fountain”. The passengers were laughed out continuously and many People gave him money. Then Driver told Him “everybody says that you are not a blind”. Then he replied “If they think then I am not and liked to be act. It depends on belief.” And then he left the BUS just telling “There are many BUS in Dhaka city. I wish someone will give this blind one of those buses.”

I don’t know whether he is really blind or not. But I like his words “If they think hen I am not and liked to act. It depends on belief.” and also he replied without any hesitation. Till now there are many people who like the person who speaks tactlessly
